CRUZR e-bikes are independently tested and certified under the electrical safety certification framework recognised by NSW. This includes both battery systems and the complete electrical system of the bike.
This isn’t about paperwork. It’s about knowing what’s powering your ride has passed proper testing.
What this means
From 1 February 2026, electric bikes supplied for sale in NSW must meet recognised electrical safety certification requirements.
CRUZR bikes meet these requirements.
Both the battery system and the bike’s electrical system - including wiring, controller and associated components - have been independently tested and certified to recognised electrical safety standards.
Why certification matters
E-bike batteries and electrical systems store and manage significant energy.
Poorly designed systems can overheat or fail. Certification confirms that CRUZR electrical systems are built with appropriate protections and safety controls in place.
This testing helps reduce the risk of electrical failure and improves overall rider safety.
